There's been a lot of comments above that claim PvP isn't as important as PvE, but they are both equally important in this game. i heard they say ret's ability as an offhealer was gone but honestly this spell just makes things WAY betterīottom line, train it, hotkey it, love itĬomment by 813159I'm sorry, but the 20-second cooldown added to this spell is a significant nerf to ret paladins, particularly for PvP. and on top of that, ret's mastery can give a free 3 HP finisher which includes this. other specs have talent like that in some way, aka a bonus for being helpful, but its crazy to get more damage out of simply healing someone.

ret also has an interesting talent, selfless healer, which not only increases the healing done by 50% if used on someone else, but also increases your damage by 4% x HP, so 12% for 10 sec.

plus the healing itself would cause a decent amount of threat with fury onĪs ret, this is where it gets interesting, now I though it was a replacement for art of war heals, but it heals for almost as much as holy's on yourself, you also generate power when kited so its easy to stay alive due to the free power gained off the new pursuit of justice.

between holy shock, beacon, and blessed life, holy definitely gets enough holy power to use it often, i guess they want to maintain paladin's being hard to kill in pvpĪs prot, its probably the least used, however, it can be used on yourself to create a shield if it overheals, guessing switch to that when incoming damage is extreme (all 3 finishers prot uses also trigger holy shield anyways).
